Roundtable

·         President – Jay O’Neil – discussion on P.A.T.H. (Preserve Associations of Town Hockey) group that is trying to rehabilitate town hockey programs.  All town teams took major hits to high level players. Two reasons are: there are twice as many club teams as town teams and there are too many rinks in the area.

·         VP/Finance Committee – Anthony Grieco – thanks outgoing board members for their service. Needs to know when Valley needs commitment on number of teams for 2010-2011 season.

·         Financial – Matt Pescatore – nothing to report

·         League Rep – open position

·         Coaching – Herb Post – no coach has officially withdrawn from their coaching position.  John Rowbotham has been appointed as I-Mite Coach.  Level Coordinators for 2010-2011 season: Squirts – Fred Pendleton, PeeWees – Tim Harrington, Bantams – Jeff Hamel. There are presently 14 players registered at the PeeWee level.  Matt Andrea will fill in as a goalie as needed.

·         Player Agent – John Hunt – (not present)

·         Learn to Skate – Michael Chapman – (not present)

·         Equipment – Mike Golini – all equipment has been returned

·         Events Coordinator – Kristen Andrea – 6 people are on golf tournament committee.  Will meet with Susan Rice to go over last years tournament.  Have a golf cart for hole-in-one prize.

·         Tournaments – open position

·         Fundraising – Michelle Sullivan – looking for fundraising ideas. Will be staying away from selling merchandise and will work at “night out” fundraising.

·         Correspondence – Carl Muise – not present

Motions:

A motion to remove Rob Klerowski as PeeWee A coach and appoint Paul Rice made by Anthony Grieco, seconded by Michelle Sullivan. Motion carried.

A motion to remove Mike Chapman as Learn to Skate Director due to numerous absences from board meetings made by Herb Post, seconded by Anthony Grieco. Motion carried. (Anthony will contact Mike)
